It took about 10 seconds. The kids spotted the water, rolled up their shorts and dresses and walked right in. The parents didn’t fuss about dirty feet, wet clothes or ruined pictures. They seized the moment and followed close behind, splashing and playing while holding their newborn. These are the moments I love to capture....
I like to keep things simple. A desk, books, signage and lots of adorable homeschooled kids were all we needed to round out this fun photo shoot. Isn’t nature the best classroom? As if AWESOME wasn’t enough?

Omaha winters are long and hard. I was lucky to spend a cold Omaha morning in a very warm home. A home with huge windows, toddler giggles and an irresistible new baby smell. Big brother is a huge train fan so this photo was an easy one to capture. However, he (and my own son)...
