Maternity photo shoots are not only a blast, they make me feel like I’m doing a small favor for the little one about to make their debut.

I have seen ONE (just 1!!) photo of my Mom pregnant with me.  Although I understand times were different back then and Moms avoided the camera at all costs – it still makes me sad.  A woman’s pregnancy is a joyous, fleeting time and should be celebrated and captured for that future family member.  This is a true sneak peek. A glimpse behind the curtain at what life was like before this little one makes its mark.

Ah, and isn’t she gorgeous!? In this pic I asked her to talk to her baby and I just love the resulting expression.

Getting an 18 month old to stay still AND pose is not an easy task. Props to Mom and Dad for not giving up 😉
