Golf. My son is obsessed! So much so that for his second birthday I attempted the impossible. I made a cake. Not just any cake…a huge golf ball shaped cake, complete with divots and a private green. This was my first and  last attempt at making a unique, custom cake. Which brings me to Jacklyn… whom I have insane, cake baking respect for.

Not only can she bake a unique, yummy cake, she can win medals doing so! Did you know you can compete in cake decorating!?

It started raining halfway through our session so we ducked for cover in the Lyceum. I stumbled across this storage room with the most gorgeous stream of light.

My new favorite wall in Clovis! Kudos to whoever added this splash of color to Clovis 🙂

In order to capture Jackie in her element, we visited the Sugar Shack off of 21st street. A big THANK YOU to Jo Beth for letting us invade her kitchen. If you’re looking for a custom cake for graduation or simply a cupcake break, be sure to check them out 😉

It seems sometimes the wind can actually be your friend.
